I created this painting after a confrontation and a vision. After a conflicting impulse between anger and sentimentality.

Sentimentality and anger Which of the two gets the better of the other?

In each of us there are both.

After a heated discussion of emotional involvement, I felt the need to report what I had seen and felt on the canvas.

In the work I channel the energies and emotions felt.

During the creative process I isolate myself from my surroundings and connect with the deepest part of myself. I find myself in a state of trance.

The viewer can choose where to sit and watch.
Which emotions, energies to choose.
